In a couple of weeks, we'll be headed to the Hakone Kowakien Yunessun Hot Spring Amusement Park and Spa. It's basically a water park and spa where you can soak in different baths. Japanese people believe visiting onsens (a Japanese hot spring pool) promotes healthy living and is an excellent way to feel rejuvenated and relaxed.
Here are some of the pools I'll be soaking in:
Wine spa! Yum!
Green tea spa!
This is going to be a great adventure! I can't wait! And don't worry, I'll take my underwater camera and post the pictures for your viewing pleasure.
I'm a 4 foot 10 inch asthmatic Hispanic momma now living in Japan. ****But was evacuated after the March 11th earthquake and currently homeless in Texas!***The State Department allowed us to return to Japan on April 14th, so I'm back in Japan, where I belong!
People seem to find my mishaps entertaining, so thus the blog begins. And, I have been encouraged to start a blog so people can keep up with us in Japan. I have had this creative bug in my ear telling me to do this for a while, but I could never bring myself to do it. By starting a blog, I feel like I'm going to the beach in a thong for the first time without a bikini wax! It is kind of scary to lay it all out there for the world to see and to judge.
My world is filled with hilarious moments that I can't wait to share. I hope you enjoy what I have to say and can laugh with me on a regular basis. After all, we could all use a little laughter in this God forsaken world.
