One of my favorite families returned home to the States yesterday. I was sad to see them go, but even more sad that I won't be able to watch their son grow and mature.
As you know, I hate the goodbyes. I'm not good at letting people go. Once I find people that I like, I keep them near, but I always know in the back of my mind that this will not last forever. I will try to keep in touch via e-mails and Skype and Facebook, but it's not the same. I'll be missing out on the day to day friendship that made them so special.
