Domestic Diva

So, I've been cleaning my apartment since I got home from work. Sister is coming to visit this weekend, so I feel the need to clean. I've been picking up Jude's toys and Husband's clothes. Since I'm the only one with a vagina in the apartment, this place can get pretty dirty. And, most of the mess isn't from Jude but from Husband. Oh well, you have to take the good with the bad....and, that's about the only thing I can complain about when it comes to Husband. I'm pretty lucky to have such a good man on my hands, but he is a slob. Oh well!

And, I was really domestic today. I glued Velcro to Jude's super hero cape today. I was using a safety pin to keep it on him, but I didn't think it was safe to use one near his face. So, I went to a craft store today and bought Velcro. Unfortunately, I'm not really THAT domestic, and I can't sew worth a crap. So, I glued the Velcro down using seam/fabric glue. I'm not sure if it will work or not, but it was worth a try. If Martha Stewart were to see my handy work, she would bend me over and....ummm....she would cane me.

So, off I go to continue my domestic housework.

One question: which is worse...little boy streak marks in under roos or man streak marks??? I haven't decided, yet. (Hee-hee)

The Incredible Jude Poo Poo

(There goes the super hero!)
(Cute, isn't he???!!)

(This is The Incredible Jude Poo Poo super hero saying cheese. The kid is so silly.)

YaYa sent Jude a super hero costume in the mail. He named himself The Incredible Jude Poo Poo--what do you expect...the kid is 3 years old.
I remember when I was his age, I wanted to be Wonder Woman. So, YaYa made me a Wonder Woman costume for Halloween. It was a leotard painted like the American flag. And, I had ankle and wrist bracelets made of aluminum foil along with silver painted Ked's tennis shoes. It was awesome!

****In the original post, I misspelled the title. Sorry for that!! I've been hanging out with my Japanese friends, and I've lost my ability to spell English words. What the hell!! Sorry for being a retard!

While Mommy is away...

Last Sunday, I went grocery shopping and left Husband and Jude alone to fend for themselves. I was gone about 2 hours. While I was away, Husband let Jude play in the sand box we have on our balcony. I have no problem with that. However, Jude wanted to make sandcastles, and you can't make sandcastles with dry sand. So, Husband obliged and added about 2 gallons of water to the sand box--- naturally the sand turned to mud. I've got awesome pictures of the event, but for some reason Blogger won't let me post them right now, and it is totally pissing me off! I tried about 3 times to download the pictures, and it doesn't work. I'm about ready to jump through this computer and rip off some little nerdy computer tech's testicles. Phew, sorry for that! Sometimes I get a little out of hand and my Napoleon Complex comes through. Sorry!

I'll try to post the pictures later.

Just another day in Weenie's World!
***Never mind the above mentioned threat to rip off a nerdy tech's testicles! I tried to download the pics one more time, and it actually worked! So, apologies to all you computer techs out there with testicles. I promise, I won't hurt you today! (Hee-hee)

D-E-A-D, Dead!

****This is a Debbie Downer blog entry. Topic: Death of molly babies and abortion.

All the molly babies are dead. Their momma ate them. What a cruel world! I feel really bad about the situation. I feel guilty for letting them die. I could have done something to change their situation, but I didn't. I feel really GUILTY! And, keep in mind, we just bought the Molly this weekend. I didn't even really have time to develop a "relationship" with them... if you will.

I guess my Catholic up bringing has caused my guilt or maybe I'm just one of those people that feels guilty for things. That's probably why I am the way I am....because of guilt! Whatever!

I was going to discuss abortions in this entry, but I won't. That's a touchy subject that probably shouldn't be discussed on a blog set up to make you smile. However, lots of women I know have been down that road...I road I've never traveled nor ever will. I guess for me life is too precious to ever be thrown away. I know lots of other women don't feel this way, and that's their choice. However, I can't imagine the guilt a woman must feel after having an abortion. I feel bad because my 10 molly babies died. I can't imagine having to make the decision of having an abortion, and then dealing with it everyday of my life. That is more than I could ever handle. Plus, growing up with a deep Catholic conviction, if you will, I could never deny a child...no matter what.

I'm not saying that women shouldn't have abortions, that's their choice. And, in America...you have that choice. But, for me...that could never be a choice. For me, all life is precious. Everything created by God should be cherished and loved, not destroyed. But, I must admit, I've never been in a situation where the idea of an abortion has ever been brought up. I guess I'm lucky for that. And, I'm not judging any woman for their choice to have an abortion. That is between them and God, no one else. All I'm saying is that, in my mind, women who have abortions must deal with an incredible amount of guilt, something I could never personally be able to handle. Those women must be very strong, stronger than me--that's for sure.

I don't want to offend anyone with my words or create any problems...remember, this is my blog and these are only my words...nothing more.

Keep in mind, I don't judge people. I never have and I never will. I know I'm not any better than anyone else. All I know is that since I'm a very guilt conscious person, I could personally never handle the emotions associated with having an abortion. I'm too weak to ever do that.

Again, sorry for being a Debby Downer and bringing up such a serious topic.

For you regulars out there, sorry for this.

Christian Azul

So, I did a little stalking on MySpace and found an old high school friend. It's crazy how modern technology can help you stalk!! It's awesome.

So, we hadn't spoken in years...probably about 10 years or so. It's crazy how we've changed over the years but still manage to be the same people we were back then.

It was good to catch up.

That was a chapter in my life that was closed. Now, I hope to re-open it. Or, at least write a new paragraph or 2.

Babies?? No way!

So, we went to the pet store yesterday to buy a replacement fish for Grass, our Goldfish that died a few weeks ago. We ended up getting 2 new fish: an algae eater and an orange Molly named Molly. Well, after we brought them home, we floated them in the plastic bag for about 30 minutes. After that, I checked on them and realized that Molly had given birth. That's right. We picked a pregnant freakin' fish. What are the odds???

Molly gave birth to about 8-10 black and white speckled Mollies. They are very, very tiny. They spend their time hanging out in the plastic plants in the aquarium trying not to be eaten by their mother. I thought about separating them into another tank, for their safety. But, Husband doesn't want me to get involved with another aquarium and try to raise Molly babies. My plate is already full.

So, today when I came home from work, most of the babies were dead. There are a few that might make it, but I doubt it. I told Jude that only the strong one's will survive. He seemed okay with that. We told him about "survival of the fittest." He seemed okay with the idea that most will probably die.

Even though Jude and Husband are okay with the babies dying, I am not. I really do want to rescue them and buy a new aquarium just for them. I want to nurture them and watch them grow into big fish. But, I guess Husband is right. I really don't have time right now to go and buy a new aquarium and set it up. Because I'm teaching summer school, most of my time is occupied. Oh well, I hope the Lord forgives me for not taking care of these creatures.

Self Improvement...

So, after thinking long and hard about my friend who recently got a Nip n Tuck, I think I'll do a little "self improvement" of myself. Nothing drastic, just a little enhancement...if you will. It would be just a little step to take a few years off. Again, nothing drastic...just a slight improvement of the current me.

So, the next time I go to the grocery store, I'll pick up a tube of whitening toothpaste.

I told you it wasn't drastic!!! (Hee-hee)

How Harry Met Sally

Some of you know how Husband and I met. And, some of you don't. It's a great story, so I'll share.

In 2000, I graduated from college with an English degree. I had aspirations of becoming an attorney. So, the wonderful people that I nannied for got me a job at a law firm in Houston, Texas. I worked there and loved it. The people there were really fun and intelligent. It was sometimes difficult to work with certain people, but challenging... and I liked that.

So, after I worked at the law firm for about a year, my friend, who I will call Blue Jay, came home. She returned back to Texas after working in Germany for a few years. She was a high school friend that I hadn't seen in years. But we had BJ in common. Basically, Blue Jay came home to have her baby. I saw her at BJ's birthday party, and she mentioned that she had a friend back in Germany who would be perfect for me. He was brown, Catholic, smart, and played the guitar...everything she thought I needed in a man. Blue Jay told me I should e-mail him. I told her no thanks considering I lived in Houston, Texas, and he lived in Germany. So, a few weeks went by and I saw her again with BJ. She told me that she had spoken with her guy friend from Germany. She told me that she told him all about me. She suggested I e-mail or call him. Again, I told her no thanks.

A week or 2 later, I had to go to Tulsa, Oklahoma, on a business trip. I was sitting in my hotel room all alone one evening when BJ called me on my cell phone. This was our conversation:

"Hey, what ya doin'?" BJ asked on the phone.

"Not much. Just sucking down a bottle of wine in my hotel room." I told her.

"Hey, remember that guy Blue Jay was telling you about?" she asked.

"Yeah, what about him?" I asked in return.

"You should e-mail him," she told me.

"Why?" I asked her.

"He sounds like a nice guy. And, besides, what do you have to lose?" Those were BJ's famous last words.

"Are you sure?" I asked her.

"What do you have to lose!?" she said in a louder voice.

"Okay, okay. I'll e-mail the guy," I told her.

And, that was that. She gave me his e-mail address over the phone. And as soon as I hung up with her, I e-mailed him.

We e-mailed back and forth for a couple of months. Since I never thought I would actually meet him, I told him all of my inner most thoughts and feelings. Then, one day at work the phone rang, and it was him (Husband). His voice was nice and smooth. He sounded kind of goofy and a bit of a smart ass. We had a great chat. Then, he called again the next day and the next. Soon, we were talking on a daily basis. He was in Germany and I was in Houston. Our phone bills were really expensive, but it didn't matter.

Then, one day he told me over the phone that he was coming home to Houston. His parents and sisters lived in Houston, and he was coming home for the Holidays. He wanted to meet in person. I was a bit nervous but agreed to meet.

So, on December 21, 2001, I met Husband for the first time face to face. We hit it off right away. We had so much in common. We were both coconuts--brown on the outside and white on the inside. Our parents were nurses. We were both lactose intolerant. We both played music instruments. We had more in common than we could believe. He was a bit shy but still talkative. He was nice and charismatic. He was just perfect!

After our first face to face meeting, I knew I would marry him. I'm not sure how I knew it, but I just did. They say when you meet the "one" you know, and I did.

We spent 12 wonderful days together, and they he had to return to Germany for work. In February, I went to Germany to visit him. He took me to Paris for Valentine's Day. In May, we went to Cancun together with Rice Spice and a friend. In November, I went back to Germany to see him again. We truly had a long distance relationship. However, each time we parted at the airport, it became more and more difficult. Sometimes it was unbearable. And, we dealt with it for 2 whole years.

Then, on February 17, 2003 (President's Day) we got married by the Justice of the Peace in North Texas. We didn't tell anyone for 2 weeks.

Our wedding cost $62.00.

And, that is .....how Harry met Sally.

Nip n Tuck

So, a good friend of mine just returned from a Nip n Tuck trip. She went to Thailand to have some work done. We saw her yesterday and she looks great! She got a new set of boobs, lipo on her tummy, back, and thighs. She was already H-O-T to begin with, and now she's super HOT! Since she went to Thailand to have the work done, it was about half price from what you would pay in the States. She said her accommodations were first rate and better than any hospital in the states.

I don't think I could ever do anything like that...I'm too much of a chicken shit! But, seeing her with her new slimmer look, seems to have given her new self confidence. I don't think she needed any work before, but the result is FABULOUS! Her doctor did a great job!

So, if anyone is considering having any work done, you should consider Thailand!

Back to the real world!

Jude went to school today. I packed an extra set of clothes for him just in case he has an accident. I think all the explosions are done...I hope. He seemed to be fine this morning.

I return to work today after a 2 week vacation. Oh, Singapore....how I miss thee....

Oh, yea...Sister made it to her new apartment in Akita-ken. Every thing is going well. In fact, she gets 5 days off for summer vacation this month. So, she will be coming to stay with us for about week. We are looking forward to her visit. She will be here August 9-17, we think. Nothing is final, yet.

So, that's what's happening in Weenie's World!

Oh, by the way, next week I start teaching preschool summer school. So, I might not have time to write. The summer school lasts through August. So, don't think I'm ignoring you or have forgotten to write, I'm just going to be busier than normal. So, please forgive me, in advance. Thanks!
